The story of the Jesus Hospital Estate in Bethnal Green and some of its residents. It was owned by the same philanthropic trust for 300 years until 1979 when it was sold. Shortly afterwards it was scheduled for demolition. This was halted by its residents who came together after the first houses had been levelled.
