GHOSTS ON A WIRE
Well here we are in 2021 after the most challenging year the world has had for a very long time.
I am pleased to say that my nearest and dearest, and myself have survived. It was hard going in many ways, and unsurprisingly, the old creative juices weren't flowing well at all, but in the end a new play emerged.
Southwark Council, who commissioned me to write Albion in Flames, had recommissioned me to continue exploring theatrically the history of Blackfriars.
I am delighted that the team who brought you Albion in Flames, are back together and if all goes well, Ghosts on a Wire will be showing at the Union Theatre in September 21.
Details of early booking etc.. will be posted here and on the various media we use these days.
Working-class lockdown diaries
Dr Lisa McKenzie and I are editing diaries from the first month of lockdown written by working-class people from around the UK.
The outcome will be a graphic record of this unique time in our history.
Much more to follow about this exciting and unique project.
